Designed for
pre-schoolers on up through middle school, this
special room is a rewarding experience for all who enter. Children cannot only
look, but can touch the many antique exhibits. They can dress up in fireman,
police and military
uniforms as well as play regular dress up with old-fashioned clothing and
hats. They can grind corn like the Indians used to. See granny button-down
shoes, sit at an old school desk, stoke an old pot belly stove. Help children
tie the past with what ever they happen to be studying in school at the time.
Parents can relax and sit in the “park” to watch their children. The park is
an area with a bench and beautiful mural painted by a local artist. Her
magnificent art work adds beauty to the Imagination Station.
