The Museum offers an important adjunct to the classroom studies of the High Desert’s pre-school programs and school children.  Helping to extend classroom learning through our visual and “hands on” Museum learning experience. Your children will tour the Victor Valley Museum & Art Gallery which will include exhibits, artifacts and information about the history, art and culture of our High Desert community.  Following are brief descriptions of some of the programs that your children might experience.

Imagination Station

Designed for pre-school on up this room is a rewarding experience for all who enter. Children can not only look but can touch the many antique exhibits. They can dress up as fireman, police men and military as well as old-fashioned clothes and hats.  As children are busy exploring the Imagination Station parents cansit and relax in the “park area".

 General Information about what to expect and how to book a tour

The average tour of the main gallery last about 20 - 30 minutes.You rotate your classes through the Main Gallery, Imagination Station and Art Gallery plan on at least 1 to 1 1/2 hour for your tour.
